Car Stereos: car audio, rocker switch, hi chris

What I want to do is to have all the speakers in my car on one toggle or rocket (on and off) switch. How would i do that? What would I need?

Hi Chris,

That all depends on how your sound is output.

If you have an amplifier, I'd suggest cutting your remote wire, and running each side to the rocker switch.

If you are using a deck to power the speakers, I would advise against doing it.  The reason I say this is because all of that extra wire running to your speakers would result in ground looping and noise.
