Car Stereos: deck problems?, weird problem, electrical connection

I have a weird problem with my kenwood deck where it works fine for a while but after a while it almost seems like it is losing power because it will be at the same volume but yet the sound gets lower and lower all by itself and it also gets very unclear to hear the music almost like a fuzzy sound as it turns itself down so it starts sounding really bad while turning itself down. What could this problem be?

I'd be lying if I said I'd ever heard of such a thing before.

I'd suggest you have a bad electrical connection somewhere.  Either that, or your deck is on its way out.

If you turn it off entirely, and then turn it back on again once it starts doing that, does it get better and then slowly degrade again?  If that's the case, I think you're looking at new deck time.
