Answer
Hi Jesse,

I apologize for the long delay in answering this question.  Hopefully you found the information you needed through other sources, but if not:

You can fit just about any head unit into your truck if you purchase the correct adapter parts.  You'll need three main parts:  a mounting kit, a wire harness adapter, and an antenna adapter.

The mounting kit lets you fit the after-market head unit into the OEM radio opening.  You can find double-DIN kits and single-DIN kits.  A single-DIN head unit is the standard 7" x 2".  A double-DIN is twice as tall; 7" x 4".  In your truck, with a touchscreen A/V or navigation unit, you'll be looking for a double-DIN.  Look for a Metra 95-6511 kit.

The wire harness selection will depend on whether your truck is equipped with a factory amplifier.  If you have the basic 4-speaker system, you can use a standard wire harness:  Metra 70-6522.  With this harness, you'd need to connect the new head unit's accessory power wire to a key-switched power source elsewhere in the vehicle; you can probably tap into the power wire at the cigarette lighter.  If you want to avoid this, you can use a slightly more expensive harness: XSVI-6522-NAV.  This harness generates an accessory power source for the new head unit, and also gives you some useful wires for installing an A/V or navigation head unit.

If your truck is equipped with an upgrade audio system like the Alpine 10-speaker option, you'll need a special harness to make the factory amplifier work with an after-market deck.  Look for a Metra CHTO-03 adapter.

The antenna adapter is required because the factory antenna plug won't match the after-market deck's antenna port.  You'll need a Metra 40-EU10 (the label may not look like it's the right one for your truck, but it's the one you need).

Hope this helps!
