do i have to go to a dealership to get the factory cd player fixed in my 2005 chev trailblazer

Hi Gavin,

A dealership is more likely to sell you a replacement CD player than to fix the existing one, and local electronics repair shops might have a hard time with a data-controlled deck like the one in your Trailblazer.  There are some companies that repair OEM CD players if you're willing to remove the deck and ship it to them.  Here's one example:
