Car Stereos: No longer able to hear music from speakers, gm suvs, yukon xl

I have a 2005 Yukon XL with Bose stereo. My wife turned the stereo off and when she turned it back on we could no longer hear any music. The stereo appears to be working as all the contols work. I plugged headphones into the middle seat entertainment console and I can hear the music through the headphones. Any ideas what could be the problem?

Usually, it is a gradual short, but 2000-2006 GM SUVs radio's have a fault.  The connector in the rear of the radio wiggles loose on the inside of the radio and causes the sound to not work.  The radio must be removed and repaired to fix the problem.  Hope this helps, Scott
