Car Stereos: back car speakers, 2008 toyota corolla, spade connectors

Question
I have a 2008 toyota corolla and wanted to switch out the back speakers can i just buy new ones, the same size and plug them into the back like the old ones or do i have to get behind the actual radio when replacing back speakers?

Answer
Steve,  When replacing factory speakers (which I highly recommend), you only need to get ones that are the same size as the ones that you are replacing.  They bolt right in.  The wiring, however, usually has a factory plug that needs to be cut off and spade connectors installed to connect the new speakers.  Real easy upgrade for any car.  Hope this helps, Scott
