I have a 2008 Chevy Malibu classic. I orderd an aftermarket wireharness adapter to hook up my stereo. but the plugs don't fit. The car is a 2008 but its a classic which is basicly a 2007, if that makes sense. what harness will work with my vehical and where can I get it?

Hi Kevin,

Do you have a light blue factory radio plug? If so, the correct harness for your vehicle should be a Metra 70-2103.  This harness would fit your vehicle's main radio plug, and give you constant power and speaker connections, but you'd need to find an accessory power connection somewhere else in the vehicle.  That's because there's no key-switched power wire in the Malibu's factory radio plug; the stock radio is switched on and off through a data connection.  The red wire in the 70-2103 harness won't match up with any factory wire; the red wire from the new head unit will need to be extended down to the fuse box, so you can connect it to a switched power source there.

The 70-2103 should be available at any car audio shop that sells Metra accessories.
