Car Stereos: Subwoofer power, renault megane, subwoofer amplifier

Hi i was just wondering whether you can power a sub without using your cars battery.

This is becaus ei have a renault megane and really want to put my sub back in but to do so i have to take out my glove box, and ecu from under the bonnet to be able to feed the power cable my battery.

Is there anoter way?

Stephen,  Yes, you must use some source of power to power the subwoofer amplifier.  Fortunately, you have a whole firewall of space to choose a spot to run a power wire.  There is no specific place you have to run the power through.  Just look for a more accessible spot to make your hole.  Hope this helps, Scott
