Car Stereos: Pioneer avh-p4100, 2005 dodge caravan, pioneer avh

Hey there Brian my question is I'm considering to buy a pioneer avh-p4100dvd head unit which I'm very excited about but I own a 2005 Dodge Caravan %26 I'm not sure if the radio will fit the car without making major adjustments to the dash. My question is, is this possible without cutting into the dash?

Hi Cedric,

Unfortunately, the factory radio in your Caravan is considered a 1.5-DIN chassis.  I've never tried to fit a double-DIN head unit into one of these, but I suspect it would require some dash modification and cutting.  There's certainly no adapter kit made for this application.

You might be better off considering a single-DIN unit with a motorized screen, like the AVH-P5100DVD.
