Car Stereos: STEREO, fuse panels, blown fuse

IVE HOOKED UP MY STEREO AND NOW MY DOOR LOCKS WONT WORK AND MY INSIDE LIGHT AND MY FUSES ARE GOOD DO MY RED AND YELLOW WIRES GO TOGETHER OR YELLOW AND ORANGE PLEASE HELP

Hi Eric,

You should have an aftermarket deck harness for your car.  In which case, you just line up each like colour.  It's pretty easy that way.

If your door locks and inside light aren't working, you almost certainly have a blown fuse.  Pull and test them.  Just looking isn't good enough.

Also, most cars these days have TWO fuse panels.  One under the hood and one in the car.  Check both.
