Does the sony xplod GT09HP stereohead console dims when in park light?

John, From what I have read on that model, it does not dim with the dim with headlights on.  If it did, it would have an orange wire to connect in the wiring harness.  Then, it would be just slightly dimmer with the lights on, it would not be controlled by the dimmer switch like the instrument panel is.  Hope this helps, Scott
