Car Stereos: 2004 durango deck, mode button, reset button

i set the clock on my deck and now my mode button will not work to operate my cd player. i want to know if there is a reset button or code i can use to switch my deck operation to operating mode so my cd player will work.

Hi Eugene,

Many decks will refuse to let you to switch to CD mode if there's no CD in it -- try ejecting and reinserting your CD to see if it picks it up.

If it doesn't (it should switch to CD mode automatically), then your deck might be fried and its sensor to detect the existence of a CD in the player isn't working correctly and would require repair/replacement.
