Car Stereos: Wire converters, jeep cherokee classic, jeep cherokee

Question
Hi I have a 2000 jeep cherokee classic I have 2 12 woofers and an amp
already installed. But I was running them off the stock head unit I just
bought a kenwood kdc mp235 head unit and the wires from the stock unit
will not plug into the new kenwood so I was wondering if there was some
sort of kit or converter that I could plug the stock wires Into and just plug
the kenwood into that.  I know I could hard wire it but I don't want to if
there is an easier way.    Thank you

Answer
Charles,

You are correct!  You do not want to cut your car's stock wires ever.  They make wiring adapters to wire your radio to.  The adapter is made to fit you car's plug with pigtail wires on the other side, then you just connect the labeled wires of the adapter to the wires of your radio's plug.  Then, you just plug the adapter into the car and the other plug into the radio.  The adapters can be bought at any stereo shop.  Hope this helps, Scott
