Car Stereos: Ford Taurus 02 CD Player, ford taurus, original cd

I didn't realize I had a CD already in the player. I put the 2nd CD in. Nothing happened and so I pressed eject. The original CD came out and the 2nd CD is gone. I put a CD in and it plays, where in the world is the 2nd CD I put in?  Thank you for your input.

I'm not even sure how to answer this.  If you don't have a CD changer, the device should have refused to accept the second disc (physically locked it out).  Are you sure you don't have a CD changer, and just loaded it into another slot?

If not, you might have to pull the unit apart to get your other disc.  If it's happily just playing any CD you put in it now, I'd suggest there's something else at work.
