QuestionQUESTION: I recently installed a Sony XPLOD CD deck and one installed, I must have done something becuase my Temp guage and Gas guage along with all my dash lights will not work, my speedo and rpm guage work...what is going on..? I checked out all my fuses and rechecked the wiring...nothing worked
ANSWER: Jared, If you had mentioned the model and year of your car, I may have some more info for you. I can tell you that there are some wires behind the dash that are not connected anymore. Depending on your model of car, you may have been told to splice into some other wiring harness, besides the one that just goes to the radio. Or, you may have inadvertently popped a plug off the back side of the instrument cluster during your installation. Or, your car may have more wires in the radio harness that need to be redirected for the gauges to work properly. Nevertheless, there is a connection to the rear of the instrument cluster that is not there right now, and you will need to pull out your radio, and feel in behind the cluster for a loose wire. QUESTION: My Car is a 1997 Cheverolet Malibu, after installing the cd deck and finding my dash didnt work I took out the new deck and replaced it with my stock deck, I also bought a new cluster panel and it still didnt work
