Car Stereos: toyota radio/ cd/ tape, car stereo wiring, stereo wiring diagram

Hello....  I want to install a factory radio from a 2004 toyota tacoma in my  1994 toyota landcruiser .It fits in the dash but the  3 plug connectors on the factory harness of the landcruiser dont quite match the three on the  back of the stereo. The radio model # is 86120-AD020 ----REF  NO   mx440484 .  I havent tried anywhere else.  Hope you help....Regards...Peter

Peter,  In trying to keep all of my modifications reversible, I always recommend to not cut any factory wires.  To do what you are wanting to do, I would recommend buying a wiring harness adapter for your year and model of truck.  Then, I would recommend going to an import salvage yard and cut the wiring harness out of a 2004 Tacoma, leaving about 4 - 6 inches of wire connected to the plugs.  Then, I would use the instructions with the adapter and on the following webpage to match wires on the adapter to the wires on the tacoma plugs.  Wire them together, then plug the adapter into the truck plug and the tacoma plugs into the radio, and that should do it.  Website is:
