Car Stereos: 07 Ford Taurus SE amp installation, ford taurus, amp power

Hi there i recently got a 07 ford taurus se i am taking the old radio out and replacing it with a after market one and also am installing a amplifier and a sub. i am almost done all i have left to do is find a opening to put the amp power wire through the firewall. do you know where a good opening is? i don't feel like drilling, and if you don't know where one is where would the best spot to drill be?

Hi Michael,

I don't know this car specifically, but I've never in my life found a car that didn't have a hole I could use in it already.  Look around near where the driver sits.  You should be able to find a hole with nothing in it but a rubber grommet -- run the wire through the middle of it.
