Car Stereos: RCA, rca jacks, stereo stores

Question
QUESTION: hey i was wondering i have sorta the same problem...but not really i was wondering if u could tell me where to find the converter...my deck  dosnt have RCA jacks eather...help?

ANSWER: Hi Adam,

I'm not sure what you're referring to, but I'm assuming you're just trying to find a line out converter to add an amplifier to a factory system.

A line out converter can be found at most electronics/car stereo stores, as well as online (ebay and crutchfield.com would have them.)

Answer
Hi Adam,

There's not much to worry about -- blowing your amp with a low-level input is highly unlikely.

You just tap into your rear speakers, run the wires into the converter, and run RCAs from the converter to the amplifier.  It's as simple as that.
