Car Stereos: never seen this before?, driver speakers, rca cable

Question
I have two amps hooked up to 7 speakers (including 12" sub) and 2 tweeters. When listening to the radio, all the speakers sound great, but when I want to listen to a cd only my front passenger and rear driver speakers work. I have messed with the rca cable to no avail. I am starting to think it is a faulty cd player. Just wanted someone elses opinion before I throw away my cd player.

Logan,  If your radio and cd player are the same unit, it sounds like an internal issue with the unit.  If they are separate units, there may be a wiring problem somewhere.  I am guessing they are the same unit, and you are right that it should be working the same as the radio unless there is some internal problem.  Hope this helps, Scott
