Car Stereos: nissan x-trail, nissan x trail, driving me crazy

I have a Nissan X-Trail model of 2004.Recently I had to change my battery and ever since my cd player blinks non-stop!
Its driving me crazy,please help me!

Your problem is the anti-theft programming in your stereo.  They have programmed the radios to shutdown if power is disconnected.  So, you will need to take the car into a shop to have the radio reset.  With Nissan, I am sure it is just a series of button pushes, but I do not know them.  The shop should perform this task at no charge, but they may try to charge you a minimum service charge.  Hope this helps, Scott
