Car Stereos: RCA Preouts on my factory Stereo?, level converters, factory stereo

Question
Scott,
I have a 2006 jeep liberty limited edition with a stereo model number RBQ 591507AE. I googled RBQ stereos and the pictures i found look like my model minus the equalizer on the the left. The question I have is without having to take the stereo out, are there RCA pre outs on my stereo(I need two for my Amp) and if not is there some kind of converter and where would I find that?
Thanks,
Eric West

Answer
Eric,

I haven't seen a factory stereo with preout RCAs (bummer).  You are in luck.  There are line level converters for sale out there.  You put your speaker level wires in the input, and there are RCAs on the other end.  Pretty simple to hook up, and they cost about $30.  Just look for "line-level converters".  Hope this helps, Scott
