Car Stereos: stereo, crysler voyager, fuse box

Question
hi i own a crysler voyager 53 plate 2.5turbo diesel my stereo/satnav has no sound coming put if u could please get back to me

Answer
Hi,

I'm sorry, but I don't have any experience with vehicles made for the UK or European market, nor do I have any resources for researching them.  In a Chrysler mini-van made for the US, there would often be a factory amplifier.  If you install an after-market head unit, it's necessary to activate the amplifier.  This might be as simple as connecting a wire in the radio harness; but in the newest vans, an adapter interface module might be required.

If your stereo/satnav system is the factory original, you might want to check the vehicle's fuses.  If a factory amplifier is present, it probably has its own fuse in the vehicle fuse box.

Good luck!
