Car Stereos: factory cd player in 04 chevy Tahoe, chevy tahoe, factory cd

My Cd player in my truck stopped working.  When I try to put a CD in it won't catch it.  If I force it in it automatically ejects it.  How can I fix my CD player.  It is a factory cd player.

My guess is that the cd mechanism is wore out, and possibly bent.  When they stop operating properly, there is usually little that can be done to repair them.  Sometimes, if it is just an error code or something, they can be cleaned, but when something physically is not working properly, it is a bad sign.  Sorry I didn't have any better news. -Scott
