Car Stereos: 240-watt Harman/Kardon audio system + problems, rover freelander, salvage yards

I own a 2004 Lad Rover Freelander with the above system. it has I believe a 6 CD chnager/stacker. It will not accept a CD and it will say wait then CD error 3. What can i do? Tks!

It sounds as if your cd player is jammed.  Either there is a cd stuck during ejection, or one that it is trying to read and it is not letting it eject.  Either way, it is the cd player which is malfunctioning, and there are 2 things to try.  First, you can try "fishing" for the cd with a butter knife.  I have had the best results this way.  Second, you can take it in, and have it professionally removed.  Either way, it is probably not a good idea to use the cd player anymore.  I would recommend replacing your radio with another OEM radio or an aftermarket radio.  You can find used OEM radios at Salvage yards for a fraction of the price of a new one.  Hope this helps, Scott
