Car Stereos: 2002 trailblazer 6cd changer, radio works, cd changer

i have 2002 trailblazer 6cd changer and the radio works but the cds dont play and i cant get them to eject.
it just makes like a humming noise when i try to play or eject. can u help

Hi,

There's one of two things going on here.

Either the CD Changer is confused about what's in it, and what's not, and is not working as a result, or the cd changer is completely fried.

To see if it's #1, disconnect it for 20 minutes, and reconnect the power.  This should reset everything.  If it continues to misbehave after that, you're looking at repair/replace.
