Car Stereos: car audio, off chance, jetta

hey there- -- 2003 Jetta Monsoon radio.  Suddenly:  no sound, no ability to change stations, no ability to get anything from it but electricity is getting to it as the display shows the last used station.  Fuse? what?  any ideas?  Really appreciate your thoughts on this.  Thanks! Joanne

It sounds like a faulty radio.  There could be an off chance that a button is stuck pushed in or a knob is overturned.  Double check all the buttons and knobs, and make sure they are working ok.  If so, then the problem is probably in the radio.  The typical cost for repair on radio is about $150 - $200.  Hope this helps, Scott
