I have a 1996 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition 4.0L 4WD V8 and I have one rear speaker on the right which has blown, I need a replacement but I don't know what to look for.  If you need a specific number or something like that please let me know so I can get this fixed.  Thanks.

Hi Matt,

The rear speakers are 6x8".  Don't buy factory, since you'll almost certainly pay more (unless you get them from a wrecker) and they won't be as good quality as aftermarket.

Buy any 6x8 aftermarkets that catch your fancy and install them both -- only installing one would result in weird sound imaging differences between the two.
