Car Stereos: 8 rear bass speaker, chevy tahoe, custom brackets

I need to replace the rear bass speaker in my 2001 Chevy Tahoe, and I do not know what will work. It has to be 8" round without the use of an amplifier, compatable with the factory installed stereo. Can you help ?

There is not an aftermarket speaker especially made for that replacement.  Your best bet is to buy the next largest speaker that will fit in the space (6.5" round), and have it installed by a local stereo shop.  They will make custom brackets to attach the aftermarket speakers to your factory speaker hole.  You should hear a noticeably better sound after replacing factory speakers.  Hope this helps, Scott
