Car Stereos: illumination on stereo, 2004 nissan titan, nissan titan

I have a 2004 Nissan Titan and I can't get the aftermarket radio to light up.  The deck does not have an illumination wire but the harness does.  what should i look for?

Hi Pete,

All illumination wires do is change the brightness on the deck (the ability to turn it down).  With it not connected, the deck should light up with full illumination.  If it's not lighting up, you likely have a power problem.  Ensure the accessory, constant, and ground are all cleanly connected, and it should light up.
