Tips on Buying Cars: car return to dealer, soap opera, private seller

Me and my fiance recently bought a car in october and it is now december i was wondering if there is anything a guy can do... So upset that I want to bring the car back

I have called about the plates in nov. after our tag expired. The lady said they are going to next day the title to our courthouse and should be ready in 2 days that was nov. 21st and it is now
December 16th the lady said they still haven't sent it out yet. The courthouse ladies have even called to see what the hold is..
Wondering if there is anything i can do. Thanks

Your problem is an ongoing soap opera I wish the US would deal with transfers same as Canada where there as never been a problem, I seem to get mail every month about delays with ownership ,,, 6 to 8 weeks is not unusual and I have been involved with a few that took 4 to 6 months,,, so hang in there.

Had you purchased from a private seller I would be of concern, with a registered dealer the hook is on them, let's give then till past the holidays, if still no title get back to me and we will go into second gear.

To ease your mind here are some common problems why this happens.
Car may have been a trade-in and dealer has not paid of the old loan to obtain the title or
dealer bought the vehicle and still waiting for the title
