Car Stereos: aftermarket stero in 02 galant W\ INFINITY SYSTEM, infinity system, watt amp

i have a 02 galant with an infinity system in it. i'm trying to put a 15in alpine type R sub in  with a 2000 watt amp. i figured i didn't have any sub inputs in the factory deck so i bought a cheap sony explode deck cdx 3000 or somethign like that. i bought the harness package, and i spliced the wires put the power harness in but there was no place for the otr wires (clip) to go. which i think is the audio wires. do i need a specific deck or can i hook my sub up through the exsisting system? what should i do?

Hi Cam,

Put the original wiring back, and get a wire harness to tap into.

If you want to leave your Infiniti deck, then get a high output to low output converter and use it for input to your amplifier.  If you want to use the aftermarket deck, you'll need to get a factory integration harness.
