Suzuki: engine smells, sulphur odor, valve stems

hey scotty,

we decided to get a new cylinder head for the samurai to eliminate the smoking on startup, do you know where i can get a fully built head with all the valve stems and seals in place so all i have to do is bolt it on? how much would that run me?  also when i accelerate/put the clutch in to brake, i get an exhausty smell coming out of the engine (cold and hot), any ideas.  thanks

Go to www.izook.com, and from the links go to "Hawk Suzuki".  I've seen completely rebuilt heads for a decent price on their site.
RE: the exhaust smell.  the fuel mixture gets richer on decelleration, and can cause the smell.  It's not at all uncommon to encounter a pronounced sulphur odor in those circumstances.  None are abnormal, but rather a characteristic of vehicle function rather than a defect.
