Car Stereos: Locating ACC Wire, rear view camera, rear view cameras

Question
I want to install an electronic relay in my 2006 Honda Pilot to work with an aftermarket rear view camera. The relay will be placed in the engine compartment and I need to locate a Switched Ignition / ACC Source to connect to the relay.  What's the easiest way to tap into an acc wire in the engine compartment?  Thanks for your help!

Answer
Hi Chris,

You might be able to use the power going to your daytime running lights, as they'll inevitiably be on whenever the car needs to have something like rear view cameras on.  The downside to this is some vehicles only turn on the DRL when the car is in drive (and not reverse, which would be kind of useless.)

Other things you can try are the accessory wire going into the car stereo deck, and if you have a multimeter, you'll find there's lots of wires going into the fuse panel that will have 12V on them only when the car is on/in accessory.
