Car Stereos: No Power to Radio 98 jeep grand cherokee, jeep grand cherokee, yellow wires

I removed the factory stereo and went to install an aftermarket, however I am getting absolutely no power to the radio.  I connected both the red and yellow wires and the ground but I am just not getting any power.  How can I fix this, I checked the fuse both on the radio unit and
the radio fuse in the car and they are both fine. I used a test light, I am getting power to the ignition switch, but not to the continuous power. Even when I put the factory back in, there is no power. Please help!

Hi Kevin,

Getting no power to the constant line would suggest the fuses aren't in fact fine.  Check again.  Use a multimeter on them to verify that they aren't fried.  Just looking isn't good enough.

Also, see if you worked anything loose or broke the cable inside somehow.
