Car Stereos: Stereo Screws, hyundai elantra, panasonic cq

Question
I just purchased a 06 Hyundai Elantra. My last car was a 95 Toyota Tercel. I had installed a CD/MP3 Player in the Tercel, and managed to get it before it was totaled out. However, I left the screws that mounted the stereo inside the car.

I removed the stereo from the Elantra, hoping the screws would work, but they don't. the screws it comes with are too short, and too small to fit in any of the holes in my stereo (Panasonic CQ-C1333U). I can't find replacements on the Panasonic site, nor anywhere that has the specifications for the correct screws.

Where can I find screws that will work? Thanks.

Answer
Hi Casey,

Just take the unit into your local hardware store and go into the section where they have loose screws.  Try a bunch until you find one that fits well.  Make sure it's not too long; you don't want it making contact with anything inside the deck when it's screwed in.
