Car Stereos: Audi 2003 A6 Bose Stereo, volume button, buttons work

My Bose stereo locked up. It has locked onto 1 station. None of the buttons work except the volume button. CD and tape deck do not work either. Tried pulling fuse and resetting and it is the same. No codes appear.

Hi Gary,

It sounds like the daughter card that connects the front panel to the rest of the deck has become disconnect or lost its connection.  Unfortunately, the only way to check that is to pull the deck apart.  At that point, you're probably better off replacing it with another factory deck, or putting in an aftermarket one in its place.
