Car Stereos: 2005 Ford F150, ford f150, bottom middle

Hello I have a 2005 Ford F150 extended cab and I was wondering as to go about replacing the rear door speakers. I think the whole rear door panel has to be taken off to access the speakers but not quite sure.

Hi Robbie,

The rear door panel does indeed need to come off.

Remove all of the trim pieces from the door panel (they should just pop off), and then remove the screws from the top corners and bottom middle of the panel.  Pull out the window control plug, and disconnect it and set it aside.  Next, remove the bolt underneath.  Remove the doorhandle cover plate (gently pry it), and remove the 2 bolts it exposes.  Pull up on the door panel, and it should come off.
