Car Stereos: engine whine and then some, engine whine, sony xplod 1200w

Question
I have a 1990 accord.
with a pioneer after market mp3 player,MA 1000w amp,Sony Xplod 1200w amp and MA 500w amp.
I have grounded all to the trunk latch which is close to 18" away or closer.
The engine whine I might say is as loud as you ever wanted.
I have tried everything down to a noise suppresor on the radio leads and have gotten nowhere.
Is there something I am missing?

Hi Jay.

Try running the power wire on one side and the RCA wires to the other, then again check the ground, try grounding each amp on different places, and then check that the RCA wires are in good condition sometimes more often then what u think, these wires get pinched when putting all the panels and stuff back, if this happened RCA wires might be grounding out causing unwanted noises, check all this first and let me know please if you are still having problems.
