Car Stereos: eclipse stereo problem, eclipse stereo, security issue

hey there! my car just got out of the shop and now my stereo no longer works (does not play cds or display anything on the screen). it is an eclipse, the only number i could find on it was 54400 (i dont know if that is a model #). it displays the message "UP 7880"/"Dn 1078". none of the buttons seem to do a darn thing. if you have any idea how to get this working i'd really appreciate it. thanks!

Hi Colin.

Looks like its a security issue, some of those radios come with a Cd. that only the owner will have it comes encoded to unlock the radio, the only thing you need to do its to insert this cd and everythng will work again the way its supposed to.
