Car Stereos: stereo codes, customer service numbers, car stereo

Question
My car stereo has a code that needs to be put in to work, The only problem when the car was bought from a dealer they lost the code to it , is there anyway to fix the problem other than replacing the stereo.

Answer
Hey there

If your dealership doesn't have the code then chances are the price of the radio isn't worth the amount work it will take to get the code.  I'd just buy a new one to be honest.  If you REALLY want the code, you're going to have to make a whole lot of phone calls.  Look on the back of the radio, see who the manufacturer is and start calling 411 to get the customer service numbers.  I really don't think it's worth it but that's just my opinion.

Let me know if I can help

Thanks
