Auto Racing: Upgrading my 2003 RSX Type-S, learning the ropes, auto mechanic

Question
QUESTION: Where can I get useful information on how to modify my car (2003 RSX Type-S) or even acura motors in general? I'm very new to auto-mechanic stuff, but I don't want to pay for someone to do it for me cuz it takes the fun out of it. Eventually I'd like to race on a track. I'm trying to get my car between 300 and 400 HP. The only aftermarket part in it is an INJEN CAI. Any suggestions?

ANSWER: I wish I could help but I don't think a person can do much.  It's designed around being a strictly computer controlled, emissions friendly engine.  Aside from nitrous oxide and maybe an aftermarket supercharger, cat-back dual exhaust (there is a sensor in the converter, and the car won't run right if you modify before).

QUESTION: What about purchasing a "computer chip modifier" to make it accept the changes?

Answer
I'm sorry it took so long to follow up, I'm new to allexperts, and learning the ropes.
Yes, the computer chip modifiers are excellent, you can tune out the emissions limitations, and because these engines were well built they can take the mods.  A good rule of thumb is, any chip/mod manufacturer claiming more than a 30hp gain is unrealistic, stick with one who's upright and honest and you'll be much happier.  Godd luck, Mike
