Auto Racing: Starting a team., wentworth military academy, sports team

hey, i was wondering what the first steps would be as far as starting a racing team.  I currently attend wentworth military academy and a few of the other cadets have shown interest in having a school racing team.  we have a few experienced mechanics and good racers, but we dont know how to get started properly.  Im supposed to give our commadant a proposal on expenses and steps required within the next few days....your help would be much appreciated.

I'd suppose you will have to refer to your local/national automotive federation or so for the procedure that you'd have to follow to start a legitimate racing team

sorry i am not very much experienced in this area but i suppose it will be treated just like any other sports team being formulated... you would have to refer to the respective federation to know the correct procedure
