QUESTION: i have a 2001 mitsubishi mirage de coupe, i was wondering if you knew what would be a better choice for an engine swap that would just drop right in with very little mods, and maybe even the price range. thanks

ANSWER: Honestly I don't know of any swaps for the Mirage. Maybe on of the evo motors will fit, but rather than spending the time and money associated with that, why don't you put a turbo on it?

QUESTION: i have a 1.5l engine, very small, so id rather have a bigger engine with a turbo, more power that way.

That is not necessarily true. Civics with 1.5/1.6 L SOHC engines can achieve 300-400 HP without a terrible amount of work. I have a friend that dynoed 380 HP, on his 1.6L SOHC non VTEC engine. Do a little investigation I am sure someone has done this already.
