Auto Racing: Drag and circuits, fwd car, street tires

Question
I have a FWD car.

Which is the fastest way to launch at drag races? What I currently do is:
holding the clutch in, rev up to 2000RPM and hold, once the lights turn
green, I throw the clutch and and slam the gas down. My clutch seem to slip
and can't quite launch off straight away. I must use street tires though.
I wish to know the best  technique to use while launching.

Which is the fastest way round on a circuit on a FWD car? By late, early or
neutral apex?

Thanks in advance!

Answer
well... is it slipping because it can't handle the power of the engine? do you get any wheel spin during launch?

the best launch is the one with minimal wheel spin so you need to practice that with your car and tires till you get the best RPMs that you should launch at

IDK about the rules you have to comply with but a stiffer rear suspension and stiffer engine mounts aid a better launch... of corse you know less weight is big plus here

i am not sure of he best technique for cornering but it was said that the exit of the corner is far more important than the entry... and when poering out you should not release then press back the gas pedal as this disturbs the car's balance so basically focus more on a clean exit so choose the apex style that best serves this purpose

i hope i covered all your questions
