Chevrolet Repair: 99 chevy tahoe stalling, chevy tahoe, o2 sensors

Question
im sure this question has been put out there a few times, and i have tried to find something similar to it but have been unsuccesful at this point. i have a 99 chevy tahoe 5.7L, (old body) in june of 2006 i changed out the fuel pump after it went bad, the truck has run like champ until i left for afghaistan in march of 2007, (problem started about febuary), this only happens when the truck is warm never when cold, but a few times as i drive at a steady speed, the truck will just cut off and i have to coast to the side of the road, i turn the ignition off, and then the truck starts right back up, and runs fine, this happens quite often, and then as i have the truck at a stop light while i have it in drive, itll sputter and stall, but then starts up just fine, and as i found, in order to keep it from doing that at the light, i put the truck in park and i place my foot slightly on the gas to keep the rpms up so it wont stall on me, then when the light changes i put it in drive and roll on, i have changed some of the slightest things, such as the spark plugs and wires, distributor cap and rotor, and replaced the maf (which was bad as well), and with putting in the new fuel pump last year, i have checked the pressure which was good at the time, the pump is an after market pump, and so far i have heard that some people go thru these problems before the pump goes bad, when i replaced my old one, i didnt have these symptoms, the truck just died and i didnt hear the whine of the pump, like i still do now. now from what these symptoms are, is there anything else that could cause the stalling beside a fuel pump going bad? or is there something maybe with a bad intake manifold, egrvalve, o2 sensors or anything of that nature that would cause this? even tho i do know most of this will just cause it to run rough, but i have to ask.  i would really appreciate your help, and thankyou for your time!

Answer
You will need to check your wire terminals at the fuel pump it is very possible that you have a poor connection at the the pump harness. This would cause int problem.  If they are brown or burnt replace the connector.  This would also cause your new fuel pump to fail prematurely.
