Auto Racing: Geo Storm setup, circle track cars, sway bar

Question
Thanx for the quick reply Dan! What do you suggest i do with my trailing arms? What kind of precentages should i have for Left side and Cross?

Answer
Hi again:

Cross weights are an enigma to me.  check with some local guys , see what they tell you. Assume all of them are lying and take an average of the results.

Most circle track cars work best with about 55% of the weight on the left.  You probably want to get as much OFF the right front as you can when sitting static, cuz in the corners the car is going to transfer a lot of weight to that corner.

If you start getting a lot of push when you add power that's your problem .  We call it "power understeer".

For now, leave your trailing links alone. But think about them.  Do they run straight back, in line with the centerline of the car, or are thay at an angle to that centerline?    If they run straight back, why there's not much to do to them. if they're at an angle the design will open a whole new can of worms - - -That we call "roll oversteer".  ie the more the car rolls the looser it becomes.  The only solution for that is about a 3/4" sway bar on the rear. Make it adjustable

After you have run it for a weekend or two. let me know what you feel, and we'll try a few more tricks.
