Auto Racing: Camaro performance, synthetic oil change, cold air intake

Hi, i recently bought a 2000 camaro. v-6, auto.  ya i know its weak, but i need to drive it day to day and im 17 and paying for the whole thing so i just cant afford the 2 extra cylinders.  that being said, i am looking at good ways to boost the HP on it without crippling the longevity of the engine.  in particular, i was looking at either the FastToys Ram Air kit or a K&N cold air intake.  which one would be better in terms of power and efficiency.  also, is there anything else you could reccommend to me?  i was thinking about a DynoMax dual exhaust (because i can get 40% off from my job)but looking under the car i dont know if a dual exhaust would work well without bottoming out on everything. again, mostly things taht wont kill the motor 10,000 miles down the road.  i know you dont quite specialize in this area, but you seemed to match closest to what i am asking...  any and all help is greatly appreciated.

THERE'S A FEW GOOD THINGS YOU CAN DO ,THE FAST TOYS INTAKE ,I HAVE NO EXPIERIENCE WITH ,BUT K+N HAS ALWAYS WORKED WELL FOR ME ,A GOOD EXHAUST IS ALWAYS WELL SPENT MONEY ,THERE WON'T BE A TRUE DUAL AVAILABLE AS THE CAR WAS NEVER DESIGNED FOR IT . A GOOD CAT BACK SYSTEM(BORLA,DYNOMAX ETC.)WOULD BE A GOOD HP MOVE.I BELIEVE FAST CHIPS OR HYPERTECH CAN HELP ELECTRONICALLY (FUEL/IGNITION CURVE TAILORING,SHIFT POINTS,FAN KICK ON TEMPS ETC.)A SMALL CHANGE I RECENTLY SAW DYNOTESTED IS A FULL SYNTHETIC OIL CHANGE (TRANS,REAR,ENGINE.)SHOPED A FULL 10 HP GAIN AT THE REAR WHEELS ON A V-8  CAR.THAT'S ONE CHANGE  THAT CAN ONLY HELP LONGEVITY .I HOPE THIS GIVES YOU A FEW IDEAS  TO START WITH .GOOD LUCK J MAZIO.
