NASCAR Racing: NASCAR CUP Chassis, powerhouse team, ford fan

Hi Katie,
I'm a big Ford fan, Roush/Fenway being my favorite Team Owners.
It seems as if the Ford engines are as powerful if not more so than the other teams. I don't really understand why Ford's having such a bad year. I suspect it may be the chassis or set up or similar problem that is causing Ford to have such a terrible season thus far.

Any idea on what the problem is with the Ford cars this season?

I apologize for the delayed response, I've had issues with my computer accessing this account, and the Vickers ordeal has been a huge distraction.
My only insight on Fords struggles really, is that they really only have one powerhouse team, and that's obviously Roush Fenway. My take is that the team itself is struggling, not the car. Things in NASCAR right now are very even, the manufacturers don't make a ton of difference. I don't know what is causing them to struggle, but I would be willing to bet it doesn't have anything to do with thier engine package or thier chassis.
