who drove the black car with the Army logo on the hood printed in white, i think it was an older man, i thought. please help me figure this out

Hey Margie,

In the 2007 Daytona 500, Mark Martin was driving the 01 Army car (black). It was a position to be filled for Dale Earnhardt Inc. Martin is 51 now, so back then he would be 48 (I believe, but he is older than most of the drivers out they and has bright gray hair). I believe this would be the one you would be talking about since replays of that race are going on considering the Daytona 500 is happening this weekend.

If this wasn't the one you were talking about, the same Army car was driven by a man named Joe Nemechek before Martin drove it (Joe was an older man too). This was closer towards the 04 season.

So it could be either of these guys.
