NASCAR Racing: 1967-1969 car #31, papaw, car accident

Bill Ervin, driver of car #31 from 1967 to 1969, was my papaw.  He died in 1996 in a car accident.  I'm trying to find photos, articles, etc for a scrapbook for my father's birthday.  Do you know where i can find them or who to talk to? I'd greatly appreciate it.

This one is going to be a toughy since your papaw only ran in 24 races; 18 in '67, 5 in '68 and 1 in '69, with no top 10 finishes. Those cars and drivers got NO coverage back then but I promise to look through every source I have. Write me at woody46nc@yahoo.com and I'll let you know if I can find anything.
